The Content Repository is where all content items in XperienCentral are stored. This includes pages, page sections, images, downloads, media items and custom media items. While you select a page or page section from the Site Structure Widget or Page Section Widget in order to edit it, all other content items stored in the Content Repository can only be retrieved using the XperienCentral search functionality. In addition to content items, the Content Repository also stores the metadata that is applied to content items.
Metadata can be applied to items in the Content Repository. Here you manage tags, tag categories, discussion configurations, the workflow model used by the Content Repository and so forth. This section describes in detail how to manage the options available for the Content Repository.
