Investigate how many backends and frontends are being used. You can use the status and controller_status Administrative Pages to see how much traffic the servers are handling. Are the backends only used by editors or do they also serve frontend visitors? What algorithm does the load balancer use to balance the load in the cluster? Use the Monitoring Dashboard Administrative Pages to find information about the frontends and backends.
